"And he sought to see who Jesus was, but
could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. So he ran ahead
and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him for he was going to pass that
way. And when Jesus came to the place , He looked up and saw him, and said to
him, "Zaccaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your
house" (Luke 19:3-5)
Jesus was on His way going to a destination which was
not originally Zaccaeus' house, but a desperate and hungry heart to know whom Jesus was changed His destination.
LESSON FROM THE
PASSAGE:
1. A hungry and desperate heart towards God draws heaven's attention.
2. A hungry and a desperate heart does not see obstacles and discouragement.
3.
A hungry and a desperate heart goes the extra mile on the positive direction to
get what he wants.
May the Lord increase our hunger and thirst to know Him more
and for greater achievements for.As zaccaeus received Jesus' attention, may you
receive heavens attention.
NEVER BE DISCOURAGED. IF YOU CAN NOT SEE FROM WHERE
YOU ARE RUN AHEAD, IF YOU STILL CAN NOT SEE CLIMB, MAKE SURE YOU ARE GROWING!
